Facebook's new look - coming soon!

The social networking site, Facebook, is set to make changes and once again this will meet with a litany of complaints from users. Every time Facebook has made a change in the past, its users have shown their discontent. This time, its the layout of the Profile Page called Timeline that will change as well as Facebook's Open Graph apps platform making it easier to share media.

The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg said at the company's F8 Conference last week about Timeline, It's a way to tell all the important stories from your life on a single page. Timeline is like an online scrapbook. It gets rid of the single column of posts and replaces it with a wide page format which includes a large photo at the top which you choose and is public, as well as your profile photo. A dynamic panel made up of Update info, where you get to edit your profile information; View Activity, shows all your activity since the day you joined Facebook and an actual timeline where viewers can look back into your history and view your updates and contents. If this worries you, don't worry you can control your timeline.

You can add or remove items and you get to decide who sees an item in your timeline. Facebook gives seven days in which to get your profile ready before your Timeline is published.

So be warned! The Timeline is available to developers but there are still a few bugs to sort out, so its best waiting for a few weeks when it will be available to all Facebook users. Watch out and let us know what you think!
